Mik.Musik is a label of the independent scene of Poland.
DEUCE:
His music is a mixture of sentimental, cute melodies with cybernoise,
punk energy with hip-hoplike rhythms, lo-fi with hi-fi, distorted quasi-rapped songs with white-noise
and the cavalcades of crazy breakbeats, became a trade mark of DEUCE.
8rolek:
8ROLEK is the soloproject of Bartek Kujawski.
The music consists of subtle shifts of synchronic and asynchronic rhythm layers, of small irregular looping
segments, noisy reverbs and a non-direct stereophonic play. In his
approach Bartek is using not only regular laptop way of constructing
music on stage, but is involving also accordion and small toys for very
unique effects.
retro*sex*galaxy:
The solo project of Wojt3k Kucharczyk.
retro*sex*galaxy is characterized through the tension between his love for a humorous, almost satiric approach and
some profound conceptual background. Sometimes is politically and socially infected.
His first release was entirely based on a popular-science book on general
Physics published in 1955 by the soviet author Perelman.
In his second release 'Dispop' he is dealing with interpretations of the worlds most famous dancing rhythms.
Third is about geography, fourth is about french chansons.
"Entertaining physics/Physik macht spass" was reissued in spring 2003 on
vinyl LP by gagarin records. Now has in preparation new release for
ORAL/Canada and radioplay/transmission together with Felix Kubin for WDR
(D) and ORF (AT).
